I always enjoy spending time with creative people, and hearing about their influences, processes and work flow. I find their creativity and passion for what they do inspiring, and it’s certainly enjoyable as a photographer and videographer to capture things that are aesthetically interesting.
The studio space of an artist, for example, is always fascinating to me, and Matthieu’s environment was an awesome insight into the synapses that fire up every time he’s in production mode. A tangible embodiment of all that cerebral activity, if you will!
Anyway, Matthieu is a Loughborough based artist, and the scale and detail of his work really impressed me. The tiniest canvas I saw was home to a whole galaxy.
